ISIS has killed 1,878 people in Syria in the last six months, according to British-based monitoring group the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Of these casualties, 1,175 were civilians, including eight women and four children, said the group's head, Rami Abdulrahman. In the last two months, the Islamic militants have also killed 120 of its own members, usually foreigners trying to return home, according to the group. While the numbers from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights' report have not been independently verified, ISIS has released a number of videos of executions of captured fighters, journalists, and aid workers in recent months.
