Senior White House aide Jared Kushner has hired lawyer Charles Harder to represent him in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia investigation, Vanity Fair reports. Citing sources familiar with the matter, the report claims Kushner may have grown nervous after Reince Priebus, President Trump’s former chief of staff, testified Friday before Mueller’s team. Harder is best known for representing Hulk Hogan in a defamation lawsuit against Gawker Media that ultimately led to the news site’s shutdown. He has also represented Melania Trump and, until recently, disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. It was not immediately clear when Harder joined Kushner’s team. Kushner has been at the center of the Russia investigation for his foreign business interests and presence at a meeting last year between Donald Trump Jr. and a Kremlin-connected lawyer who allegedly promised damaging information on Hillary Clinton.
