A British human-rights group said Wednesday that a Western journalist has been killed in the Syrian city of Homs, citing activists in the city who had direct knowledge of the death. A provincial official confirmed that a Westerner in a “media delegation” had been killed, but the person has not been identified. The human-rights group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the person was hit by a grenade or rocket attack.
