NBA star Kevin Garnett will reportedly accept a buyout from the Minnesota Timberwolves and clear waivers, paving the way for his retirement from the league. The 40-year-old played 21 seasons in the NBA, the majority of which were with the team that drafted him out of high school in 1995, the Timberwolves. Garnett won an NBA championship with the Celtics in 2008, and was a 15-time All-Star. He had one year worth $8 million remaining on his current contract.
