Wow, things really are bleak in Kardashian-land. Kim Kardashian hired a publicist to distance herself from her family, Page Six reported on Monday. Kardashian is apparently trying to build her own brand, moving away from the family’s loyal public relations manager, PMK*BNC’s Jill Fritzo to Slate PR’s co-founder Ina Treciokas. “Kim wants to set herself apart from the Kardashian PR machine, and Kanye advised her to build her own brand,” a source told Page Six. Fritzo, meanwhile, has probably been pulling some overtime in dealing with the Lamar Odom drama.
