Los Angeles will host the summer 2028 Summer Olympics, the International Olympic Committee announced Monday. The Los Angeles Times previously reported that city reportedly reached an agreement that would allow Paris to host 2024 games, for which Los Angeles was being considered, in exchange for the later year. 2028 will be Los Angeles' third time hosting the games, after 1932 and 1984.
