Special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigative team is probing top White House adviser Jared Kushner’s contacts with foreign leaders during the presidential transition period, The Wall Street Journal reports. More specifically, it is reportedly focusing on Kushner’s role in a United Nations vote to condemn Israel for its settlement practices. Israeli officials reportedly appealed to Donald Trump, then the president-elect, to help block the resolution’s passage. It was approved after the U.S. abstained.
