Special Counsel Robert Mueller has subpoenaed the Trump Organization to “turn over documents, including some related to Russia,” The New York Times reported Thursday. The subpoena was issued in recent weeks and ordered President Trump’s namesake umbrella company to “hand over all documents related to Russia and other topics he is investigating.” The Times reports that there is “no indication” that the company plans to fight Mueller on the subpoena. This comes as Mueller has seemingly broadened his investigations scope, looking into foreign money—specifically activities relating to the United Arab Emirates—that may or may not have been a factor in the administration’s activities.
