The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) is taking a hit from donors as a result of the GOP-controlled Senate’s failure to repeal and replace Obamacare. According to CNN, at least $2 million in pledged donations has been withheld due to donors’ anger at the party for not coming together on a plan to fulfill the seven-year campaign promise. The 2018 electoral map heavily favors the GOP, but CNN reported that officials are worried about the potential impacts on their advertising efforts in races where they could win over a Democratic seat. The NRSC declined to comment.
