Report: Rapper Nelly Arrested on Rape Charges

Rapper Nelly was arrested Saturday morning and charged with second-degree rape after a woman accused him of assaulting her on his tour bus, TMZ reports. Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ says Nelly, born Cornell Haynes, Jr., was taken into custody at around 7 a.m. Saturday in Washington. The woman, who has not been identified, reportedly told police the sexual assault occurred at about 3:45 a.m. and she specifically identified Nelly as the perpetrator. He was set to perform Saturday night with Florida Georgia Line in Ridgefield.
