Alt-right leader and University of Virginia alumnus Richard Spencer has been effectively banned from UVA’s campus for his involvement in the torch-lit march on campus in August 2017, The Daily Progress reports. The university reportedly issued 10 “trespass warnings” to Spencer and other rally participants from California, North Carolina, and Texas on Friday. UVA alleges that the 10 people “engaged in conduct that directly threatened the health and safety” of community members, according to the Associated Press. The orders reportedly bar the men from university grounds for four years, and violations of the warnings would result in a “class 4” misdemeanor. Spencer will reportedly have the opportunity to appeal his trespass warning.
