Doesn’t this seem like something that would happen with Ron Paul supporters? BuzzFeed reports that several of the biggest Mitt Romney supporters at Ham House on Saturday were actually comprised of college students and other young Mormons. “We were the girls dancing by the band and definitely the loudest ones there,” said Kat Wardle, 23, a student at Brigham Young University in Utah. Wardle said there were at least 12 students in her own group and “several other random groups” of students from other schools. Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul said the Romney campaign did not pay for a charter bus for Romney supporters. Romney’s once-strong support in South Carolina has been crumbling in recent days, and he now is trailing Newt Gingrich the in the polls by as much as nine percent.
