Maybe Pippa didn't just get sunburned on her trip to India.

For Us Weekly is now reporting that Pippa got engaged to her sporty, stockbroking boyfriend Nico Jackson during their recent trip to Asia.

And although the Royalist is excited, we are trying not to get too carried away here, as it's the first we have heard of the news and Pippa was definitely not sporting an engagement ring on her return from India.

The mag reports in their latest issue, however, that Nico popped the question during their recent vacation at Oberoi Amarvilas, a five-star resort, with views of the romantically inspiring Taj Mahal.

"It was exactly how he planned it," one source tells Us of the proposal. "Very romantic and grand!"

Nico and Pippa have been dating for a little over a year and have been frequently rumored to be planning a spring wedding, but Us weekly's fresh report is the first definitive claim that an engagement proposal has been made - and accepted.

Us Weekly claims that since the engagement, Pippa, 30, and Nico, 36, have been celebrating 'in private'.
