A highly classified U.S. spy satellite appears to have been lost or destroyed after it launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on Sunday, CNBC reports. The government satellite, codenamed Zuma, is reported to have either burned up in the atmosphere or plunged into the sea after it failed to separate from the rocket. Industry experts said Zuma might have been worth billions of dollars. Neither the U.S. government nor SpaceX, a private company, commented on the alleged satellite loss.
