Two young boys were reportedly mistaken for spies and beheaded by the Taliban in Afghanistan, according to government officials in Kandahar. A Taliban spokesman denied the charge. The children, 10 and 16, were reportedly digging through trash for food to bring back home to their families. Unfortunately they were near police headquarters, a location often targeted by the Taliban searching for police collaborators. This isn't the first time the Taliban has been accused of beheading young people. In 2012, the group was said to have beheaded another set of kids, which it also denied.
