Report: Trump Asked Ex-Acting FBI Director: Who Did You Vote For?

President Donald Trump last year reportedly asked the FBI acting director during a private meeting whom he voted for in the 2016 presidential election. The Washington Post reports that Andrew McCabe, who served as acting FBI chief after Trump fired James Comey and who currently serves as the agency’s deputy director, responded that he did not vote in the election. A former U.S. official told the Post that McCabe found Trump’s question “disturbing.” Trump also reportedly fumed at McCabe over a donation his wife received from a Clinton-friendly PAC.
