Nearly as much as canceled drills with South Korea he complained were “tremendously expensive.”

President Trump’s planned military parade is reportedly expected to cost around $12 million—almost as much as the military drill with South Korea he canceled after complaining it was “tremendously expensive.” U.S. defense officials told CNN on Wednesday that the figure of $12 million is a tentative estimate and the cost could change as planning intensifies ahead of the Nov. 10 event in D.C. Trump announced his intention to hold parades to “display our military” days before taking office, but he is said to have ordered top officials to prepare one this year after attending France’s Bastille Day parade.
