Tweet this song? It could be possible. The social-networking site reportedly created a standalone music app, launching possibly as early as Friday. AllThingsD reported that the app will suggest artists and tracks to users based on factors such as what musicians they follow on Twitter. On Thursday Twitter announced that it had acquired We Are Hunted, a startup music app that tracks the most popular songs on any social network at any given time. It looks like expanding into music has been a goal of Twitter’s for a while: the company also bought a music-recommendation service.
