Obama’s speech to the Human Rights Campaign on Saturday isn’t likely to ease tensions with the gay community after this: When asked about Sunday’s gay-rights march in D.C., CNBC chief Washington correspondent John Harwood said, “Barack Obama is doing well with 90 percent or more of Democrats so the White House views this opposition as really part of the Internet left fringe.” One administration adviser told Harwood that “those bloggers need to take off the pajamas, get dressed, and realize that governing a closely divided country is complicated and difficult.”
