Five blasts were heard early Tuesday morning from an apparent NATO missile strike in Libya’s capital Tripoli—close to embattled leader Col. Muammar Gaddafi’s compound, witnesses said. Libyan government spokesman Moussa Ibrahim said he did not believe Gaddafi’s compound had been hit, while NATO did not comment on the attack. Other reports Monday said that NATO missiles hit government weapons depots near Zintan, located southwest of Tripoli.
