Republican Created His Own Gay-Sex Hoax

Michigan State Rep. Todd Courser planned to distribute an email alleging he had sex with a male prostitute to cover up his extramartial relationship with Rep. Cindy Gamrat, according to a bombshell report by The Detroit News. Courser’s plan was to craft a smear campaign to make his relationship with the fellow legislator seem “mild by comparison.” The two representatives used their offices to cover up the relationship and Courser allegedly fired an aide after he refused to help him with the email scheme. “The pair are socially conservative legislators who often invoke their Christian faith in pursuit of new legislation governing gun rights, abortion, and marriage,” The Detroit News noted.
