Rescuers Retreat from Mine

More bad news from Upper Big Branch: "Rescue crews in W.Va. mine are in danger and are evacuating," tweets Breaking News. Apparently, the mine was still filled with potentially explosive gases. The crews had planned to venture 1,000 feet down and as many as five miles beneath the earth, in hopes that the missing men made it to one of the shaft's two rescue chambers, which enough contain food, water, and oxygen to last four days.
