Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was until recently staying with Dr. Mehmet Oz in the latter’s $36 million beachfront mansion in Palm Beach, Florida. Puck News reported that the two men—both controversial picks in Donald Trump’s incoming presidential administration—were bunking together until Kennedy was relegated to a nearby luxury hotel when the TV doctor’s kids came for a visit. Kennedy is set to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, while Oz was tapped to oversee the country’s Medicare and Medicaid programs. Based on Kennedy’s social media accounts, the two men took their cohabitation as a bonding opportunity. A since-deleted post from last week shows the pair working together to wrangle a copperhead snake into a glass jar. Kennedy, who will need to be confirmed by the Senate to assume his post, has headed from Florida to Washington, D.C. for his first round of meetings with Congress members. Already, he has faced opposition from the Senate. Kennedy had been pushing Trump to name his daughter-in-law, Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, as deputy director of the FBI, but pressure from senators, especially Republican Tom Cotton, convinced the president-elect to look elsewhere, according to The Washington Post.
