Rielle Hunter Tries to Block ‘Private’ Tape

Sounds like the John Edwards sex tape really does exist: Edwards’ former mistress, Rielle Hunter, has filed papers to get back a “very private and personal” videotape from Andrew Young, the aide whose tell-all about Edwards hits bookshelves next week. “In or about September 2006, using my video camera, I authored a personal video recording that depicted matters of a very private and personal nature,” Hunter wrote in an affidavit filed Thursday in North Carolina. “In 2006, I was also having an intimate relationship with Edwards.” Hunter says she tried to destroy the tape in 2006 but Young found them inside a “box of trash” in a home that he rented for her. Meanwhile, the Edwards camp has released a statement saying most of Young's statements have been lies.
