Rihanna Goes Gray: Rihanna posted photos to her Instagram account Wednesday night revealing an unlikely new hair color: gray. She describes the new look in the photo's caption as being "ice gray ish," calling it #Brrr. "Gray is the new black!" She says in another caption. "Blondies, it's quiet for y'all!" Her third caption includes a reference to the James Blake song "Life Around Here" with the quoted lyrics, "Everything feels like touchdown on a rainy day." While her motives may be a bit cryptic, she's certainly embracing the silver fox look. [Rihanna's Instagram]
Donatella Versace Inspires Kristin Scott Thomas: For the upcoming film Only God Forgives starring Ryan Gosling, director Nicolas Winding Refn describes Kristin Scott Thomas's character Crystal as being "A cross between Lady Macbeth and Donatella Versace." It was apparently Thomas's idea to model her character after the designer -- a decision she later regretted. "This is a huge mistake," she told The Cut. "Donatella Versace, I've heard she's the sweetest, nicest, kindest person in the entire world." Thomas's character is a ruthless mafia godmother. She admitted: "This kind of idea of the golden goddess that Donatella Versace has mastered, Crystal tries to [do it] and just turns into a devil." [The Cut]

Gianni Versace's Miami Mansion to be Sold at Auction: The late Gianni Versace's home is up for grabs. The 23,000-square-foot, 10-bedroom, 11-bathroom mansion located on Miami's Ocean Drive has been on the real estate market for over a year; the starting asking price of $125 million has now dropped to $75 million. On September 17th, the elaborate home will be auctioned off at a bancruptcy auction run by Fisher Auction Company. Versace purchased the mansion in 1992 and was the location of his tragic 1997 murder. [Business of Fashion]
