Rob Ford is currently in the hospital battling cancer, as his family has gathered around him. He currently serves as the Ward 2 councillor in Toronto and was previously the mayor during which Ford was plagued by scandals. Rumors circulated that Ford had passed away in the hospital but those were quickly dispelled. He was originally hospitalized last fall with two tumors on his bladder.
