Real-estate heir Robert Durst was sentenced by a New Orleans judge Wednesday to seven years in prison for federal gun charges. The 73-year-old still faces a murder charge in California for the 2000 death of writer and friend Susan Berman, and his plea agreement on the Louisiana charge included an 85-month prison sentence. U.S. District Judge Kurt Engelhardt recommended Durst serve his sentence in a California prison that can take care of his medical needs.
