The late, beloved comedian Robin Williams's body was cremated and his ashes scattered in the San Francisco Bay the day after he was found dead in his California home. The actor’s death certificate shows Monte’s Chapel of the Hills in San Rafael, California as the family’s chosen funeral home. Williams was found dead of apparent suicide on Aug. 11 at age 63. His wife later revealed that he had been suffering from the early stages of Parkinson’s disease, as well as anxiety and depression. A press conference on the actor’s death will be held once toxicology tests are in, which could take two to six weeks.
