Rock Royalty Rages In Corny Film Trailer

"Gutterdämmerung" teaser is here, with Rollins, Lemmy, Iggy, more.

There’s a new artsy silent black and white rock and roll film coming soon, called Gutterdämmerung, featuring a musical who’s who ensemble of the gathers no moss set. The premise is to fuse what seems to be a fairy-tale like flick with a concert featuring much of the cast, which includes Iggy Pop, members of Slayer and Eagles of Death Metal, Slash, Grace Jones, Lemmy, Henry Rollins, and scads more. Will it work? Who knows. To be honest, watching this thing feels more like the high school film class project Bill and Ted would have made than a real feature film, but the trailer is worth a watch if only to see Iggy Pop's sinister twirling as the devil.

No release date is given other than an ambiguous “2016,” but you’ll surely hear more in the near future.
