Roger Stone Associate Randy Credico Resists Subpoena From Senate Panel
PLEADING THE FIFTH
Randy Credico, a New York comedian who has become enmeshed in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe, is resisting a subpoena from congressional investigators. After he testified before Mueller’s grand jury in Washington, D.C., the Senate Intelligence Committee subpoenaed Credico for testimony and documents, including all the papers he turned over to Mueller. On Monday, Credico’s attorney sent a letter to the committee, which The Daily Beast reviewed, saying he would plead the Fifth in response to their investigators’ demands. Credico has drawn the attention of investigators on and off Capitol Hill because of his long-time association with Roger Stone (their relationship has turned sour) and his communications with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
