Roger Stone: Mueller Won’t Rest Until There’s a Pelosi/Clinton Presidency

Stone comes up with strangest conspiracy theory yet.

Roger Stone appears to genuinely believe he's uncovered Special Counsel Robert Mueller's true end goal: to make Nancy Pelosi president. Stone predicts Pelosi will then step aside for her vice president: Hillary Clinton. Stone—who is due to appear before a federal judge Tuesday and plead not guilty to charges of lying to lawmakers, witness tampering and obstructed of justice—carried out a media blitz in an attempt to protest his innocence. His bizarre conspiracy theory came during an appearance on Sean Hannity's show on Fox News, where he claimed his charges amounted to the Russia probe “trying to criminalize free speech,” and added: “I honestly believe they're going to try to charge the president and the vice president with some hoked up frame of Russian collusion. That way they can make Pelosi president. She can make Hillary vice president and then step aside. It's a nightmare.” Okay then, Roger.
