Rolling Stone has released a photo of their August cover with Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev looking more like a teenage rock star than the terrorist he’s accused of being. The cover story reports “how a popular, promising student was failed by his family, fell into radical Islam, and became a monster.” The Internet appropriately reacted to the disturbing image with thousands calling the publication out on Twitter. Tsarnaev, charged with 30 criminal counts related to the bombings, which killed three people and wounded more than 260, has also attracted a gaggle of female supporters organized as the “Free Jahar” movement.
