In an interview with Newsweek/Daily Beast’s Howard Kurtz, Romney senior adviser Ed Gillespie tries to deflect the latest Obama attacks, saying Romney has 'no control' over a Super PAC’s proposal to make Jeremiah Wright a campaign issue. As for his former boss, George W. Bush, barely endorsing Romney as an elevator door was closing, Gillespie says 'sometimes news happens'—and that Mitt’s camp is fine with W. sitting out the 2012 campaign.
