There’s a new ring to kiss in Republican politics: like Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, and Sarah Palin before him, Mitt Romney met on Monday with Donald Trump in New York City. Earlier this year Trump told The Daily Beast that Romney was “going to lose” and bragged to CNN that “my net worth is many, many, many times Mitt Romney.” The meeting was scheduled at Romney’s request. Next up for Trump is a meeting with Herman Cain and a second sitdown with Bachmann, both of which are scheduled for next week.
