What’s $5 trillion between political friends? Apparently, it’s the hottest talking point in the presidential campaign. The Romney campaign has released a new ad that claims that the president “continues to distort Mitt Romney’s economic plan,” specifically the claim of a $5 trillion tax cut. Romney says his cuts will boost growth. In a clip, Obama’s deputy campaign manager is shown saying that “it won’t be near $5 trillion.” The Obama campaign has repeatedly said that Team Romney is being dishonest. So who’s telling the truth? November can’t come soon enough.
