Former presidential candidate Ron Paul was hospitalized Friday in Texas for precautionary reasons after he suffered a medical incident while livestreaming on his YouTube channel. The 85-year-old politician was talking about federal stimulus money when he began slurring his words, sparking fears he was having a stroke. He has since tweeted from the hospital, “I am doing fine. Thank you for your concern.” His son, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), tweeted that his dad was “doing well.”
