Newcomer Trevor Bayne became the youngest-ever winner of the Daytona 500 on Sunday in a wild race that saw other records broken as well. Eight additional laps were added to the race due to crashes—including a 17-car pileup early on—and the lead changed hands a record amount of times. Bayne took the prize just a day after his 20th birthday; Carl Edwards finished in second and David Gilliland in third.
