Rosie O’Donnell Has Heart Attack

Rosie O’Donnell posted on her blog on Monday that she suffered a heart attack last week and doctors had to insert a stent. O’Donnell said she suffered symptoms after helping an “enormous” woman to her car. O’Donnell took some aspirin and later wrote on her blog “thank god / saved by a tv commercial / literally.” O’Donnell resisted calling paramedics and instead went to a cardiologist appointment the next day, where her doctor found one of her arteries was 99 percent blocked. A rep for O’Donnell said she is now home and “resting comfortably.”
