The Rothy’s model was always about keeping comfort and sustainability in mind, but never sacrificing style. Their newest iteration, The Sneaker, keeps the sleek, classic silhouette of their Flat or Loafer, but adds a sturdy sole that was made to run down stairs to catch subway trains and to then walk the five avenues to a different line when that subway was running with extensive delays. Priced at $125 and coming in nine different colors, there’s something for everyone, including people that love neon. Wear them as your commuting shoe or with a pair of jeans on the weekend. Rothy’s also implemented another feature that makes their shoes top notch for city people: they’re all washable. Spill your morning coffee or step in a mystery puddle on the sidewalk? It's easily fixable by throwing them in a washing machine (no hot water or dryers!) or letting them soak in cold water and detergent.
