Rougned Odor Suspended 8 Games for Punching Bautista
Does not regret clocking Blue Jays slugger in face.
Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor has been handed an eight-game suspension for punching Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista during Sunday evening's game in Arlington. The violent incident occurred after Bautista made a hard slide into Odor's legs, trying to break up a double play—both benches cleared and more players were tossed as a result of the tense moment. Odor will reportedly appeal the suspension but has told the media he does not regret hitting Bautista.
