Roy Halladay Wins NL Cy Young

Baseball

Threw perfect game, no hitter this season.

Phillies pitcher Roy Halladay won the NL Cy Young Award on Tuesday by a unanimous vote. Halladay led the National League with 21 wins, and also was best in the majors for innings, shutouts, and complete games. His feats include a perfect game in May and a no-hitter in the playoffs. He’s just the fifth pitcher to win a Cy Young in both leagues.
