Leigh Corfman, who has accused U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore of initiating a sexual encounter with her when she was just 14 years old, appeared on NBC’s Today show to discuss the scandal. “I feel like a weight’s been lifted,” Corfman said of the past few weeks—following an exposé published in TheWashington Post. “I’ve had huge support. I can’t say how important that has been. I’ve had a lot of people come out and say that because of my courage they’ve been able to do the same.” When Savannah Guthrie said “Roy Moore denies these allegations and further says that he does not even know you,” Corfman responded: “I wonder how many mes he doesn’t know.”
