St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, the hospital where Kate Middleton is expected to give birth to her second child, is battling a superbug outbreak. The hospital has closed a surgical ward after eight people were infected with CPE, carbapenemase producing enterobacteriaceae. CPE is potentially deadly. Middleton is reportedly still planning on giving birth in the hospital, which is where she gave birth to Prince George in 2013.
