The oddsmakers were right on this one. The royal baby has been named George Alexander Louis, Kensington Palace announced on Wednesday. The baby has the same name Queen Elizabeth's father took when he ascended to the throne (his name at birth was Albert, he became George VI). When this baby becomes king, he most likely be George VII, unless Prince Charles or William decide to take the name George. He will be known as H.R.H. Prince George of Cambridge. Welcome to the world, and let's all be grateful they didn't keep us waiting a month for the name like Queen Elizabeth did when Prince Charles was born.
