Looks like the royal wedding will do more than just raise the spirits of its captive audience. Kate Middleton—now “Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge”—received raves for her Alexander McQueen wedding dress by Sarah Burton, and now, A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz has announced that they will unveil an exclusively designed wedding gown inspired by the royal wedding gown. The dress will be revealed at the 18th Annual Race to Erase MS event hosted in Los Angeles on Friday, in an effort to raise funds for the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis. Bidding for the royal knockoff will be open from Friday through Monday, May 16. The winning bidder will be able to have the gown customized to fit their body.
