Rubio: Take Me Off California Ballot

Former presidential candidate Marco Rubio has formally asked California’s secretary of state to remove his name from the ballot prior to its June 7 primary. He is the only former candidate to make this request so far, which could help Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich compete against frontrunner Donald Trump. Candidates can only be removed from the ballot by April 1.
