Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook was caught on camera during a foul-mouthed rant at a Utah Jazz fan who allegedly shouted racial abuse at him. Westbrook clearly took exception to something said to him during Monday night’s game—Eric Woodyard from Deseret News shared a video in which Westbrook can be heard shouting: “I’ll fuck you up. You and your wife. I’ll fuck you up.” Westbrook commented on the altercation after the game, saying that he was the victim of racial abuse from the stands and he wasn’t going to stay quiet about it. “The realization of it is, how it started was, a young man and his wife in the stands told me ‘to get down on my knees like you used to,’” he said. “To me, that’s just completely disrespectful, to me, I think it’s racial, and I think it’s inappropriate.” The Thunder came away with a 98-89 win.
