Turkey you got some explaining to do. Tensions are high after Russia demanded that Turkey explain just what the hell it was thinking when it grounded a Syrian passenger plane flying from Moscow to Damascus. Turkey says it was intercepting Russian munitions that were headed for use by the Syrian military against the rebels. The Kremlin, as expected, is not happy with the illegal grounding. The plane was allowed to head to Syria—though not with any cargo. It’s the latest in an escalating battle between Syria and its neighbor Turkey.
