Dutch security services expelled four Russians in April over a plot targeting the global chemical-weapons watchdog that investigated the Salisbury nerve-agent attack in Britain. The cyberattack operation by Russia’s GRU military intelligence targeted the Organization for the Prevention of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague, Dutch officials said Thursday. The BBC reports that one of the laptops of the expelled officers was also active in Brazil, Switzerland, and Malaysia, where it was used to target the investigation into the shootdown of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 over Ukraine in 2014, killing all 298 passengers on board.
