Dmitry Ustinov, 53, from Moscow, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for trying to illegally export high-tech military night-vision equipment from the U.S. Once released, he will also have three years of supervision and will be deported. He was arrested in April 2013 in Lithuania. He tried to steal and sell 17 different night-vision devices and thermal-imaging scopes belonging to the U.S. military.
